20+ years of workplace hearing protection, on-site fitting, and in-house manufacturing support.

Origin

Started in New Zealand. Scaled for Australian and New Zealand workforces.

Pacific Ears was founded in New Zealand in 2005 to address a gap in the local market for custom-moulded hearing protection. As industrial demand grew, the business expanded into Australia and built the cross-border manufacturing and fitting model used today.

What We Do

Hearing protection programs with the fitting, product, and support in one system.

Pacific Ears makes custom-moulded hearing protection for workforces in noisy environments, with communication filters and radio connections built directly into the same moulds where needed.

Moulded around the person, specified around the job.

Individual impressions create the seal. Filter selection, communication needs, wear time, and environment shape the recommendation.

Protection that does not force teams out of contact.

Radio connections and communication filters can be integrated into the same custom mould for teams that need clarity under noise.

Delivered as a rollout, not a retail transaction.

Site assessment, fitting coordination, manufacturing, labelled delivery, refits, replacements, and new-starter support are planned together.

Program Ownership

Real accountability across fitting, rollout, and aftercare.

A B2B hearing protection program is a supplier relationship, not a one-off purchase. Pacific Ears keeps the clinical, operational, and account support work connected.

Clinical Standard

Audiology-led fitting discipline

Impressions, filter decisions, and aftercare are treated as technical decisions, not just product selection.

Operational Delivery

Rollouts planned around shifts

Fitting sessions, worker lists, named delivery, and replacements are coordinated to reduce disruption on site.

Account Support

A direct path after delivery

Teams can return for refits, replacements, filter changes, and new-starter orders without restarting the whole process.

How We Work With Businesses

Four stages, each with a visible handoff.

We tell you up front what each stage involves, what we need from you, and what your team should expect from us.

Assess

We map the workforce, site profile, noise exposure, communication needs, and procurement constraints.

02

Fit

Our team captures individual impressions on site, scheduled around shifts and production windows.

03

Manufacture

Each mould is made locally with the agreed filter, colour, communication, and worker identification details.

04

Support

Replacements, new-starter fittings, filter changes, and annual reviews keep the program useful after launch.

On-Site Fitting & Bulk Rollout

Built for whole-team programs, regional sites, and repeat procurement.

The hard part is not the product. It is getting the whole team fitted properly.

Most consumer suppliers fit one person at a time in a clinic. We bring the fitting model to the workplace, schedule around shifts, and support new starters and replacements after the initial rollout.
