Custom hearing protection
Individual ear impressions taken on site. Protection moulded to the individual. Filter selection, communication integration, and colour identification built into each mould based on the operational requirements of the environment.
Communication integration
Radio connections and acoustic filters integrated directly into the custom mould for environments where workers must communicate while wearing protection. Compatible with a wide range of standard two-way radio systems used across industrial, emergency services, defence, and mining environments.
Fit testing
Individual attenuation verification for each worker using the UVEX XACT-Fit system. Results held under a company profile with individual reports available for compliance monitoring and audit response.
On-site fitting and rollout
Fitting sessions scheduled around shifts and production windows. Workforce lists managed, impressions taken on site, protection manufactured and returned with named worker identification. Multi-site rollouts coordinated across states and regions.
Replacement and new starter programs
Replacements, refits, filter changes, and new starter fittings managed as an ongoing program rather than a series of individual transactions. The program continues after the initial rollout.
Hearing conservation support
Program design, documentation frameworks, and compliance support for organisations managing hearing conservation obligations under Australian and New Zealand workplace health and safety requirements.

Fitting
On-site fitting sessions scheduled around the workforce. Individual ear impressions taken by trained staff. Each worker is fitted individually. Fit testing conducted alongside fitting where it is part of the program.
Manufacturing
Each mould manufactured in Pacific Ears facilities in Australia or New Zealand from medical-grade biocompatible silicone. Built from the individual impression with agreed filter, communication integration, and worker identification details.
Delivery and rollout
Protection delivered with named worker identification. Labelled, organised, and delivered to site or direct to the individual based on the rollout plan.
Ongoing support
Replacements, new starter fittings, refits, filter changes, and program reviews managed as part of the ongoing relationship. A direct path back to the program without restarting the assessment process.
Manufacturing
Made locally. Not outsourced.
Pacific Ears manufactures custom hearing protection in its own facilities in Australia and New Zealand. Manufacturing is not outsourced.
Each protector is built from an individual ear impression using medical-grade, biocompatible silicone. Digital impression archives support replacements, refits, and program continuity without requiring new impressions in all cases.
Pacific Ears hearing protection is independently tested to AS/NZS 1270, the Australian and New Zealand standard for hearing protectors.
